Horses have provided a source of inspiration and subject matter throughout Julia's career.   They are used literally and metaphorically.  Horses appear in the etchings,  and personal work  as well as in documentary projects such as Aintree racecourse and Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The pieces on this page represent small pieces made sometimes as studies for larger works and sometimes as images in their own right.
